Passport Verification Record Information Directly in DigiLocker

On December 3, 2025, the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) added the Passport Verification Record (PVR) feature to DigiLocker. Citizens can now access their passport verification records digitally, eliminating the need to visit the website in person.

This feature has been launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the National e-Governance Division (NeGD). Citizens will be able to securely access their passport verification details through DigiLocker, anytime, anywhere.
