Mobile network reaches village in Bastar for the first time
Mobile network has reached a village in the highly sensitive Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh for the first time. The village is filled with joy. Even after six decades of independence, the village remains deprived of basic amenities like roads, electricity, and drinking water. However, the people here have also suffered from Maoist violence for decades.
As soon as officials began work on the tower, women, men, and children gathered to worship the tower using traditional rituals, and security personnel joined in the celebration by distributing sweets. The youth here are now connected to the world through the internet.
